Here are some artworks I'm proud of! Although I do primarily fanart now, I spent quite a while refining my skill through painting original characters for a couple of years. I also provided a timelapse of my current drawing process that I generally follow when starting a new piece

My Art Process

My process will normally go like this1. Find a reference photo
2. Draw a skeleton from the reference photo (can be drawn on or just referenced from the side)
3. Sketch the details of the character loosely
4. Do another clean sketch or do the lineart based on how clean the first sketch is
5. Lay the flat colors and background color
6. Render the form with ambient lighting
7. Establish main light source and any secondary lighting (this can come before step 6 sometimes)
8. Final rendering + FX

Portrait Timelapse

This piece of Gyro Zeppeli in particular took me about 5.5 hours. Most pieces will take me anywhere from 4-7 hours depending on the complexity of the character
